A Web of Influences: The Digital Domain
An interactive, dynamic online presence is an increasing imperative for the viability of organizations of all kinds. In many ways web developers will engineer most 21st century communications. Web developers provide a number of fundamental skills that enable these organizations to communicate and do business on the web.
In PCC’s Computer Applications and Office Systems (CAS/OS): Website Development and Design program, you will learn the skills to help build the 21st century’s digital domain. PCC’s Website Development and Design program will get you started in this exciting and expanding field. You will acquire the fundamental knowledge and abilities in website design and development.
Degrees and Certificates
In this program you can earn the following:
- Certificate of Completion: Web Assistant I
- Certificate of Completion: Web Assistant II
- One-Year Certificate, Website Development and Design
- Associate of Applied Science, Website Development and Design
The program is designed so that students can work through the certificates and degrees in the order shown above, and each one is a "stepping stone" to the next. The Website Development and Design program is part of the Computer Applications & Office Systems (CAS/OS) program. See the Catalog for information regarding program requirements. All CAS/OS courses applied to the certificate or degrees must be passed with a "C" grade or better.

Our hands-on environment features expert instructors plus state-of-the-art technology and software that will help you learn the newest ways to create an accessible, interactive online experience. In this fun and challenging program, Website Development students will also gain practical work experience through their participation in Cooperative Education projects during the program.
